Comprehensive Plan

The Lewisburg Area School District employed an extensive six-month process to develop a comprehensive plan thoroughly. This initiative is designed to foster reflection, collaboration, and creativity. Multiple stakeholder groups, including administration, teachers, counselors, parents, community members, and students, were represented. Our aim was to amplify voices from various representatives to provide a more detailed picture of the desired culture and goals of the community.

In Pennsylvania, public school districts are required by the Pennsylvania Department of Education to complete a Comprehensive Plan every three years. This plan follows a consistent planning framework focused on continuous improvement, centering on three key factors: leadership, teaching, and learning.

The current plan sets the direction for the next three years. The team assessed our strengths and challenges to create a plan that charges us with continual improvement. Throughout this cycle, we will monitor progress and adjust as necessary.

Please take the time to review the Comprehensive Plan and supplemental documents. This information was presented at the board meeting on June 13, 2024. Currently, the plan is available for public review. This plan will be shared again at the July 11, 2024 board meeting for potential approval.
